Last Saturday my husband was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. There were some complications, but thankfully, he is on the mend finally and was able to come home today. He’s not 100% better, but way better than he was.
This whole week I have been amazed with the outpouring of prayers, support and offers of help we have received from so many people. On a local level, several friends offered to look after our son while I spent time at the hospital and prayed for us. So many people through the AssistU community, Facebook and Twitter supported us with prayers and good thoughts. My clients temorarily put our work together on hold, so I could concentrate on being with my husband.
I feel truly blessed and honored to have such wonderful people in my life – both professionally and personally. This week as reinforced for me, not only the importance of relationships, but the reminder that each person – and each relationship – is a gift. A gift of which I am deeply grateful!
