Do you have people in your life who inspire you and challenge you? I am blessed to have people in my life who do just that. I have family, friends, colleagues and others who challenge me to be the best Virtual Assistant, wife, mother, daughter and person that I can be. Last week, I mentioned to someone on Twitter that dark chocolate should be considered one of the main food groups. LOL I just love dark chocolate, don’t you? There’s nothing like a piece of Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate to satisfy a sweet tooth.
I remember, oh so well, when I worked in the corporate world how much I hated Mondays. I lived for Fridays, holidays and vacations. That was before I discovered the possibility of being my own boss, of doing work that I love and working only with the people I love. I Today I am very thankful for the gift of faith. Growing up, I got my faith from my mom. My dad never went to church much. When I was about seventeen I accepted the faith I grew up as my own. I’ve struggled through the years, and certainly no where near Today I am very grateful that I have the Mozy online back-up system for my computer! Off and on, since we bought the Linksys wireless router a few months ago, we’ve had connection issues. We’d call, get it fixed, then the problem would happen again. Yesterday, yet again, my husband couldn’t get Yes, I mean that literally. I’m thankful I can walk. You see, I was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy which affects mainly my right side. Except for the fact that I walk with a limp, you’d never be able to tell. It’s not a degenerative condition, and I would be seriously remiss is I failed to express gratitude for the one person who means the world to me: my husband. Today is his 41st birthday. This past August we were married six years. He is my best friend, my biggest supporter and all-around awesome guy. Words |
