Where are your thoughts taking you?

One of my favorite blogs is Phil Gerbyshak’s blog Make It Great! This blog always inspires me, encourages me, makes me think and sometimes makes me laugh.

Frequently, usually on a Tuesday, Phil offers two quotes and two questions. Here are the latest ones. As I was reflecting on them, I realized how much my thoughts really affect my mood, my attitude and my view of the world in general. I am usually a very upbeat positive person; but, when I’m over-stressed or going through a difficult time, it’s easy to let the negative thoughts take over.

I also realized how my thinking can affect others, whether they are clients, family, friends or even strangers. My thoughts, which often come out in my words and actions, will have a negative or positive affect on those around me - whether I realize it or not.

Are my thoughts helping me to be a better version of myself? Are my thoughts helping me to help others to be the best version of themselves? Are my thoughts helping me toward success? Or are they hindering me from reaching my dreams?

I see Phil’s post as an exhortation to step out of the box, to grow and ultimately to greatness. What about you? What do you get out of his post?

You are absolutely right Carol. Our thoughts DO impact our actions, more than most of us realize. I’m glad you were able to get that from my post, and that now you are encouraging your readers to do the same.

If you’d like to share 2 quotes and 2 questions for a futute Twofer Tuesday, just send me an e-mail and I’ll add you with credit of course.

Keep reaching, keep stretching and you can make it great!
