On Saturday, I had the privilege of hosting the AssistU local chapter at my house. There were four of us: Dona, LeeAnn, Pam, and me. We spent the afternoon talking shop, getting to know each other and just shooting the breeze. It was wonderful. After they left, I had much to Yesterday, a Twitter follower, Lynne Lee, needed an economical way of transferring a large file. I had suggested using her FTP client or Dropbox, but those solutions didn’t met her needs. I turned to my VA colleagues at AssistU and the VACOC, who gave me a bunch of options to If you have trouble keeping track of all the passwords you have from the various websites, forums and groups that you belong to, here’s a little tip (actually found this tip in a magazine, but can’t remember which one): Use an address book. Apparently, it’s like an “open-mic” except a little different. I get the impression like it is similar to Twitter without the 140 character limit or a chat session on Ramblings By Reba is hosting a blog carnival because she is curious about how people came up with their blog’s name. This is a great idea, I love discovering the back-story behind’s people’s decisions to name their blog, business, etc. I wish I could say that I had an interesting story One of my AssistU colleagues, Rob Neilly, recently launched an ebook called Making the Switch to Microsoft® Office 2007.
