I recently had the following comment pending moderation (copied ‘as is’ with errors and all): “Iwon’t agree with this completely that virtual assistants are part owners and not employees. Actually they are personal assistants with the advantage of covering clients from a wider geographical range then your regular P.A. and just I’ve never heard about this before but, Liz Strauss of Successful Blog hosts an “open-comment night” each Tuesday at her blog. Apparently, it’s like an “open-mic” except a little different. I get the impression like it is similar to Twitter without the 140 character limit or a chat session on @StacyBrice has a great article on her blog about her experience with offshoring. The results are not surprizing at all, and proves that there is much more to being a successful and indispensible Virtual Assistant than providing simple answers and knowing the ins and outs of the latest software or program. @StacyBrice started this meme that I think is really cool. I like things like this that help people get to know each other better. The only rules are to link back to Stacy’s original post, share seven things people didn’t need to know about you and then tag others to do the then head over to Stacy’s blog and read about what recently happened to her. It is very important to do all you can to protect yourself, because It can and DOES happen – especially during the holiday season.
