“A lot of disappointed people have been left standing on the street corner waiting for the bus marked
‘Perfection.’”
–Donald Kennedy
I saw this quote as I was flipping through a copy of Woman’s Day Magazine. It struck a cord with me because in spite of the fact that I know (obviously) that I’m not perfect, that no one is perfect and that there is no perfection in this life, I still get disappointed when things don’t turn out as perfect as I would like.
How about you? Have you been “left standing on the street waiting for a bus marked perfection”? Are you standing on the street right now?
