Heading Off to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA
Today is the first official day of summer so I am taking the day off and heading to Pittsburgh! The Carnegie Science Center has a great promotion: Every year on the first day of summer anyone who brings in a snowball from the previous winter gets in free! I’ve had several snowballs taking up space in my freezer since early December (2007) just waiting for today.
My friend Anne is meeting me here at my house shortly and the three of us (Anne, my son and me) are driving into Pittsburgh. We will be meeting up with another friend (Aimee) to go to the Science Center, “do lunch” and see Aimee’s new house. I haven’t seen my friend Aimee in a while so I am really looking forward to this excursion.
