FilExt is a handy website to keep on hand. It is a website dedicated to all things related to file extensions.
Don’t know what a particular file extension is? Or what programs can be opened with a particular extension? All you have to do is type the extension in the search box and voila! all you ever wanted to know (and then some) about the extension is all laid out for you.
It is also helpful if you can’t open a particular file or don’t know what file to use to open a particular file. It’s all there for you.
