Consultation Process

With the right synergy, the VA/client partnership is dynamic and powerful! In order for this to happen, it is necessary to get to know one another; therefore, I have a specific discernment process in place.

This process is important. It is specially designed to help us determine what your particular needs are, how I can best support you in your business and if we are a good fit for partnering for each other. This process also helps us build trust quickly and puts a strong foundation under our working relationship. I thank you in advance for respecting this process.*

Preliminary assessment: Before we can schedule our first consultation call, I need you to complete a detailed assessment survey, in its entirely.

Once I have received the completed form, I will send you a link to my calendar where you will be able to pick the date/time that works best for you within my schedule. (I will call you at the appointed time.)

Initial call—Learning about you: (Please set aside approx. 1 hour.) During this call I will ask you a lot of pointed questions that will help me get to know you and what your needs are.

Secondary call—Learning about me: (Please set aside approx. 1 hour) During this call I’ll tell you about me, my services, how I work with clients, my processes and systems, my values and expectations and finally, my rate structure. This is also your chance to ask me any questions you may have.

Third call—Going Deeper: (Please set aside approx. 1 1/2 hours) If we both agree to go forward, there will be a deeper discussion call where we will talk in greater depth about our expectations, potential issues, and delve deeper into our work styles.

Final Steps: After our deeper discussion call I will send you a welcome packet. This packet includes my policy and procedures agreement; three professional and personal goals that you would like to achieve in the first 90 days of our working together; ten things you have been putting off and are ready to handle with my assistance and client profile.

Once I have received the completed and signed welcome packet and payment, we will set up our first weekly meeting where we will together create an action plan from which to begin.
